COLUMBIA x THE GREEN EARTH: Omni Freeze Zero Cooling Power Ocean Cleaning Day

As an outdoor company, Columbia is dedicated to helping preserve your favorite places for outdoor adventure.  In this summer, we partnered with The Green Earth that help us meet our shared goal of conserving the outdoors by organizing a unique kayaking adventure for ocean clean up.   In July, we teamed up a group of outdoor influencers to support the ocean cleaning kayak activity at Wu Kai Sha altogether.  Equipping with Columbia’s pioneering technologies of OMNI FREEZE™ ZERO ICE clothing and OMNI SHADE™ UPF-rated head-to-toe outdoor gears, all of us can stay cool and protected while being active and longer in extremely hot and sunny weather. 

Together, we successfully removed 35kg of trash from ocean and coastal areas between Wu Kai Sha and Ah Chau.  Columbia is proud to support this green initiative and it is great to give a little back to the oceans that constantly give us so much.  Most importantly, we would also like to bring up the public attention to ocean conservation and awareness about the etiquette during outdoor activity.   Let’s beat the heat and go for green mission together!
