Swire Resources promotes Hong Kong swimming and wins Best Performance Award
Since introducing Arena to the Hong Kong market in 1990, Swire Resources Limited has actively promoted local swimming through excellence in product design to sponsorship of a range of international swimming events. In order to meet the evolving needs of swimmers, the company opened Hong Kong’s first Arena concept store in Jordan’s Prudential Center last year. The store brings together an array of classic products as well as the latest seasonal items to give swimmers a dedicated and comprehensive merchandise selection. To satisfy increasing market demand, Arena also launched a junior range of swimwear for children aged 9 to 14, helping youngsters enter the wonderful world of swimming by providing equipment ideally suited to their requirements.
To take the promotion of swimming events to the next level, Arena not only fully sponsored the Hong Kong swimming team at the Incheon Asian Games, but also actively supported a variety of international swimming events, including the FINA World Championships for which Arena was the major sponsor as well as the official technical partner. The great results of Arena’s multi-faceted approach to supporting and promoting Hong Kong’s swimming culture have been clearly seen.
Thanks to excellent sales and stellar marketing efforts for the brand in 2014, Swire Resources Limited won the 2014 Best Performance Award over all other Asian countries in which Arena is distributed. This award truly reflects the great contribution of staff, as well as customer support for the brand. In 2015, we will continue to back more ambitious swimming events in Hong Kong, take brand awareness and product sales to a new height through market and consumer feedback, and lead Arena to ever-greater success!
