Marathon Sports goes digital to connect and engage with customers

Marathon Sports launched its first VIP member mobile app in July 2020, which marks a significant milestone to go digital for VIP connection and engagement. Members can see their earned bonus points and redeem shopping vouchers or product rewards all at their fingertips, as well as receive quick and personalized offers of Marathon Sports, GigaSports, Catalog and all designated sports brand franchise shops in-app instantly. Customers can now access our online shops and start their e-shopping journey with just one click in the app.

The mobile app launch also turns design and launch of marketing campaign in a cost effective and digital way. Last year, the successful launch of Christmas and Chinese New Year lucky draw games, which applied concepts of gachapon machines, fortune stick and wishing tree, showed how the mobile app realizes creative ideas at low production cost and breaks through space limitation at physical stores.

With the encouraging download numbers which records more than 200,000 by the end of February 2021, it is no doubt the launch of Marathon Sports mobile app takes its Customer Relationship Management to the next level.
