Buying Trainee Programme
Our 18-month buying trainee program is designed to grow future Buyers through our systematic and structured training program. Trainees will have chances to explore different roles throughout the program, to get familiar with Retail and Omni-channels business environment, and to be promoted to Assistant Buyer/ Product Executive upon successful completion of the program.
What We Are Looking For?
- Fresh graduates from all disciplines with good academic results, or university graduates with one year working experience
- Genuine passion to build a career in retail/ e-commerce buying field
- Digital savvy and keen on being the pioneer of digital transformation
- Energetic, proactive and a good team player with can-do mindset/ attitude
- Attentive to details, good numerical sense, analytical and organizing skills
- Good written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua
What You Will Gain?
- Office orientation and other activities for a good understanding of the overall Swire Resources business and company structure
- Shop attachment for a taste of real-life retail operations
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in one of our core business units, for example, you may support the daily operations of our e-commerce sites and marketplaces, assist in our e-commerce live streaming, or participate in our digital marketing and operational CRM
- Involvement in projects such as market research and e-commerce site enhancement
- An opportunity to present to our management team on what you have learned from the 8-week internship

Summer Internship Programme
The 8-week programme provides students with opportunities to sharpen their job skills and experience the fast-evolving Omni-channel Retail business environment. During the period, interns will work in one of our core business units to gain hands-on experience and participate in various meaningful projects which focus on the e-commerce, digital applications, data analysis and/or design areas.
What We Are Looking For?
- Undergraduate students from Business/ E-Commerce/ Digital Marketing or related disciplines with a strong academic track record
- Enthusiastic and passionate to develop their career in the retail and/ or e-Commerce industry
- Creative, digital savvy, detail-minded, proactive, and with a high learning agility
- Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese
